Hello,

I have started using the myFiles feature. It is very useful for storing, organizing and sharing power point presentations. I am a fourth year radiology resident. Within my residency program, we are looking for a way to store and share powerpoint presentations from our joint radiology-pathology breast conference. Each month different residents are on the mammography rotation, so different people will likely generate the presentation from one month to the next. We would like to store all of these presenations together. Is it possible to get a single login to a myFiles account which could be used by multiple residents? This way, the person on the rotation each month could log in to the designated shared account and add his/her presention to those uploaded previously?

I'm so glad to hear that you're using myFiles within your residency program. Thats exactly the kind of thing we built myRSNA for. Your idea of sharing a set of files within a group is a good one. Its something we've been working on for a while and plan to roll out in the near future. Users will have the ability to create groups and moderate members. Those groups will have their own folder to hold files that is only accessible to other group members.

Right now, you can share individual files with specific users, but not in a group. To do this, right click the file you wish to share in myFiles. Select Share Options. Select the Search Users tab and locate the individuals you wish to share the file with. Next time they log into myRSNA, the file will appear in their myFiles under a Shared myFiles folder.

Indeed, a group feature and group folders would be very helpful to us. I did notice the option to share individual files with specific users. I have tested this sharing feature with one of our attendings. I am trying to encourage him to him to use it to share some of his MR teaching files. Do you have an estimated time for when the group feature will roll out? Looking forward to seeing it,
